Find Location from Image processes the image you choose to submit to produce a location prediction. The application does not persist uploaded photos or prediction results in a database or object storage.
Images and analysis
Selecting a photo displays a temporary preview in your browser. Submitting it sends the image to this website’s server, which first reads any GPS coordinates, capture time, and camera model stored in its EXIF metadata. If GPS coordinates are found, they are returned to you and the image is not sent anywhere else. If not, the image is forwarded to OpenRouter, which routes it to the AI model vendor (currently OpenAI) for analysis. Their processing and retention are governed by their own policies; this website cannot promise deletion by those providers. Review OpenRouter’s privacy policy before submitting sensitive content.
When a confident AI result is locked, the full result is encrypted and kept only in your browser until you pay; this website does not store it. If you choose to unlock it, payment is processed by Stripe under Stripe’s privacy policy. We receive payment status and the details Stripe shares with merchants, never your full card number.
Do not upload images you do not have permission to share, and avoid private or sensitive content. The prepared examples do not submit your photo anywhere.
Maps and external services
- An OpenStreetMap preview loads only when you choose to view the map. Loading it sends a request from your browser to OpenStreetMap.
- Opening a Google Maps link takes you to Google’s service.
- GitHub, X, and other external links follow their providers’ privacy policies when visited.

Technical request data
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Workers with operational logging enabled. The host may process technical information such as request URLs, timestamps, network data, and errors. The application’s rate limiter temporarily uses a client IP address to limit requests; it does not save this information in an application database. Photo bytes and prediction bodies are not intentionally written to application logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for the hosting provider’s practices.
Accounts and cookies
The current finder does not require an account and does not use an application search-history store. No advertising or analytics script is included in the current page. External services may apply their own cookies or data collection when you open them.
Requests and changes
For privacy questions, use our contact page. Requests concerning data held by OpenRouter, the AI model vendor, Stripe, or a map provider may also require contacting that provider. This policy will be updated when the website’s data handling changes.
