Terms of Service
Last updated:
Find Location from Image reads GPS metadata from photos and, when none is present, provides AI-estimated photo locations. By using the finder, you agree to these usage rules and should review our privacy policy before submitting an image.
Images you submit
Only submit images you own or have permission to process through this service and its provider. You retain your rights to your images. Submitting an image authorizes the processing needed to return your requested prediction, including sending it to OpenRouter and the AI model vendor when the photo has no GPS metadata.
Permitted use
- Use the finder for lawful exploration, research, or identifying places in images you are authorized to use.
- Do not use it for stalking, harassment, exposing someone’s private location, or invading privacy.
- Do not submit unlawful content or attempt to bypass request limits, overload the service, or access its secrets.
Prediction limits
Locations and coordinates are AI estimates. They may be incomplete or incorrect and should be checked against other evidence. They are not proof of a person’s identity, whereabouts, or a photo’s authenticity. Do not rely on them alone for safety, emergency, or other consequential decisions.
The example results are prepared demonstrations rather than live analyses. We do not publish a guaranteed accuracy rate.
Availability and external services
Some confident AI results show the country for free and offer a one-off paid unlock of the full result. The price is shown before checkout, payment is processed by Stripe, and an unlock applies to that single result; it is not a subscription. If you pay and the result does not appear, contact us through the contact page.
Analysis depends on the AI provider’s availability and the website’s configured access. Request limits, timeouts, or provider errors may prevent a result. Map previews and links use independent services; their terms and policies apply when you use them. We may change, limit, or discontinue features.
